AI tools were used throughout the writing and revision process as an editorial aid, much as writers have long relied on research assistants and editors: to test phrasing, propose alternatives, assist with translation between Spanish and English, and check the manuscript for consistency. No suggestion entered the book unexamined. Every sentence was written, rewritten, or approved by the author, and anything that did not sound like him was cut or reworked until it did.
Responsibility for the final text rests with the author alone: his choices, his errors, his voice.
